Book explains exercises much better than physical therapist instructions. I have ordered the version of the book. In conclusion, this is by far the best back book that I have found but still a challenge to follow all the advice. However, the book is 4/5(8).
Have you heard of Wall and Melzack's (the "fathers" of modern pain medicine ie. gate control theory) "Textbook of Pain" ()(5th edition)?Well, there is a clinical companion which I highly recommend called "Handbook of Pain Management" () edited by Ronald Melzack and Patrick I wouldn't buy the "Textbook of Pain" because it is.
By comparing what we knew in with what we know now, and at times describing on a timeline when different developments took place, this book most certainly would improve a reader's understanding of pain.
